I've created this recipe as part of the Organic Trade Board's Wake Up To Organic campaign. Breakfast is a great way to start getting more organic goodness into your diet and partnered with some top quality organic milk, yogurt and fruit, this granola is a really delicious start to the day.

On Wednesday 17th June 2015 you can come along to The Better Food Company's St Werburghs store (map here) and try it for FREE! There'll be free yogurt and milk and fruit compote from Yeo Valley too and the Better Food Co's instore cafe will be open if you want to buy coffee or anything else. You can shop from the shelves from 8am too (specially extended hours).

INGREDIENTS - all certified organic (Makes 6 generous portions)
200g honey
4 tablespoons oil (rapeseed or coconut)
300g jumbo oats
50g whole almonds, very roughly chopped
3 tbsp jumbo raisins
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
25g puffed buckwheat (or puffed oats)
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp goji berries
2 tbsp hemp seeds

METHOD
Melt the honey and the oil together in a large saucepan over a low heat.
Add the oats and almonds and stir really well.
Spread out on a large baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake at 180C (fan) for 17 minutes.

Leave to totally cool then break up into chunks. Place in a large bowl and add all the remaining ingredients.

Keep in an airtight jar or Tupperware box.

Serve with cold or warm milk or yogurt and top with fruit. Blueberries, raspberries and banana all work well.
